Awesome score (and keep the VI if you can)!

You had a Sonic Yourh Mustang? Is there a thread on this? What ended up happening?
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=22446
I remember that thread. Wild times. I discovered OSG due to it. Somebody on the Sonic Youth forum mentioned it and that thread, and I joined up. I was already an offset fan, and already had a Jazzmaster, so this forum was what I needed.

Makes me wonder, if any more of their stolen gear will ever pop up again. They lost dozens of guitars in that van theft. They’ve gotten five or six back. One of which was that red competition Mustang.

Edit: sorry for the derail
What I find hardest to wrap my head around about that thread is date of my first post:

"15 Apr 2009"

That's 13,5 years ago. Thirteen-and-a-half!

I was 21.

I remember the Mustang thing, that was a wild ride, and super cool.

Didn't the forum find the Misty JM as well? I seem to remember that not that long ago.
Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?

It’s the opposite; not particularly good phone pics. The finish actually looks better in person. Well, for the most part, get up real close and it’s not exactly neat. Nothing that personally bugs me though.

Also, the deal is done. We made a deal that we can both be happy with. Initially, she told me she’d sell it to me for 1.8k, which is why I started this thread to determine a more realistic, fairer price. Kinda funny to be upbidding like I was, but I’m really happy nobody is screwing anybody over.
That's extremely wholesome of you and much respect...not many people would do that in this world.

Bravo
Couldn't have said it better. You deserve that Jag more than anyone else.

The Jag will now spend a couple more weeks with my friend.
Expect a NGD thread with a closer inspection in a month or so.

Thanks everyone for your enthusiasm, opinions and advice!

That looks gorgeous as is. I don’t have any advice to give, just a drool emoji or two.
