Well folks, here's a guy who claims that this/his 1972 Mustang has a full scale neck on it, too!

I asked for a neck stamp pic already.
It has 22 frets, though.
Not sure...
i love delay SO much ...that i procrastinate all the time.

I love it also. It would take a guy like Arto Lindsay to make something out of this un-tunable marvel, it's like an instant "no wave" machine :P
yup! i had been daydreaming about trying to tune it for some curious and chaotic micro-tones.
i'd really like to hear the upper register as it is, to get an idea.

I wonder...
Could you move the bridge saddles all the way back and see if you can get the intonation closer? I have a 24.75 inch scale maverick dorado neck and put it on a jaguar body and was actually able to set it up by doing that. On second thought 25.5 might be too much for it to work, but figured I share anyway. Nice score!

That bridge placement looks nasty. I wonder what the bridge pickup sounds like at that position along the strings. I can't imagine it'll sound anything like a Mustang. Maybe like some sort of muffled Strat?

Did someone here buy it? If so, can we have a sound sample?

I think that's a pretty clever solution to a fubarred scale length. Dunno bout the sound, probably a lil bit more mellow.

If anyone ever wanted to give a shot, Faction makes a plate for it. It's meant for a wraparound bridge, but I'm sure it would work fine with a typical stoptail type setup as well.

I will keep this in mind, if I decide to do something with my neck

If like me, you get along better with 25.5.. slap a strat /tele neck on a mustang body.

I did it with a duosonic and out of all my 6 strings it is my go to guitar, so light/comfy/balanced.

Here with 2nd most used, I like strat pups..
