Yeah that was quite a thing here in Germany. Now I think it's pretty cool. Some of these music shops still exist, others are long gone...

Oh and amazing guitar. I've had two or three '72/'74 Jazzmasters and they all were wonderful.

The Gabriel strings arrived. Definitely roundwounds. No issue with the silk wraps being uneven...they're not even wrapped! Every single picture of a JM or Jag on his site has silk wraps on it.

Not even sure I can be fucked to put these on a guitar, I assumed they were flats due to the gauges, and the pictured silks. What I've got is a set of normal looking strings that cost me $37. Fuck Gabriel Tenorio.

Ah shit, sorry for your disappointment. I'm surprised at the lack of silks, that's surely their main selling point for the offset strings they produce as it should protect them from rubbing?

I've still had no response to the email I sent a couple of months ago, so I agree with you. Fuck Gabriel Tenorio.
