If you're looking for new pickups, I highly recommend Rumpelstiltskin pickups. I bought a set for my start years ago and fell in love with them. I've since had Aaron wind me a few more sets including the ones in my Jazzmaster and the ones in my P Bass project. The only pickups I've purchased in the last 10 years that weren't from Rumpelstiltskin are a set of JM-PAFs from Novak but I'm still working on that guitar.
They don't have offset pickups listed anymore but you can email and ask. Let them know exactly what you're looking for.

I always just use either Creamery or Fenders. I've put AV65s in this already and they sound greathulakatt wrote: ↑Wed May 04, 2022 12:09 pmIf you're looking for new pickups, I highly recommend Rumpelstiltskin pickups. Strange how I've always been a non-matching headstock kinda guy but absolutely love black Jags with a matching headstock.

Hard to find a reason to mess with it then! I thought you were putting in the av65's until you found something else.johnnysomersett wrote: ↑Wed May 04, 2022 12:29 pmI always just use either Creamery or Fenders. I've put AV65s in this already and they sound great

Nah, I'm a big fan of those pickups and they do sound extremely similar to the OG ones in my '64

I’m interested to know if this is the same one I’d played a few years back. Id assume so as the finishing is the same. At the time it had a terrible hump in the neck that was assumed to be irreparable.
Glad you’re enjoying it, it looks ace

Impossible to tell really. The neck on this is spotless however.Iheartreverb wrote: ↑Fri May 06, 2022 1:26 pmI’m interested to know if this is the same one I’d played a few years back. Beautiful score. Black with matching headstock is pure magic.

Congrats on picking this up. Black with matching headstock is my favourite look for a Jaguar.
