NGD: 1964 Jazzmaster
Through a series of fortunate events I recently happened upon this fine specimen! It's a mid-64, so it still has all the pre-CBS features bar the transition logo. The Brazilian board just looks so special! It's in very nice shape and 99,8 % unmolested...the trem arm was replaced and I put a Staytrem bridge on it (as I always do). There's really nothing to complain about, which makes me a happy camper

I now have to contemplate what the future of my AV65 that I bought new in 2013 will be...

Excellent, congrats!
Looks like a real beauty, nice tort + target burst, the classic '64 specs.
I'd say that your AV65 is on borrowed time. The only downside of vintage JMs is that they'll ruin reissues for you.

Thanks, guys! It will need some fret dressing in the Future, but it's alright for now.
The AV65 will probably stay with me, as I have massively upgraded it with vintage parts (pickguard, trem etc) and it also has a lot of sentimental value to me...

Nice! That sure bring back memories for me. I bought a new late 1964 sunburst Jazzmaster right after high school graduation. Gigged with it for about ten years then, sadly and foolishly, sold it when my first wife left leaving me with four very young sons to raise and support totally on my own.
