nope. that's definitely a mustang. i mentioned it before but they sound like tubby strats and that sounds like a tubby strat
I agree, it was just a disclaimer in case a random Nirvana expert pops up and begins an argument about Kurt’s equipment.

Haha I called it. :D It’s true, he did. The pups in my Mustang are original, however, it still sounds extremely similar to this recording. Especially on clean power chords.

Maybe not a popular choice but I always liked the clean funkiness and DI’d fuzz sound of You Drive Me Crazy by Fine Young Cannibals.
