new Thomann bridges for JM/Jag?

Post by Pacafeliz » Sat Jan 01, 2022 3:51 am

...i just stumbled upon this:
https://www.thomann.de/de/fender_jaguar ... d_528042_5

Are they kinda ripping off Staytrem here? Pretty much same price, too.
I posted it here since it's only available in the vintage radius, but feel free to move.

Anyone here has tried one of these?

That seems to be a Fender part- from the TVL JM, no?

Yep, Marr Jag/TVL JM bridge, I think.

I mean, it is a ripoff of the Staytrem, for the most part.
Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?

You know what, I'm not sure either now. I know Staytrem has been making the vibrato stuff for 15+ years but can't remember about the bridge and the Marr Jag is, what, 2012/13 released?

Hang on, I knew something was on my mind about this. I found this thread and it confirmed my old memory... John @ Staytrem actually designed the Marr bridge
