'72 Jazzmaster - all original except for bridge and a refret job.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QG_f7zE4M5g&t=720s - demo of a cool KHDK octave fuzz

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YIVs7_Bv3k - soundboard audio. my attempt at covering Funkadelic with my personal hero Mr. Pavlicek (the other guitarist). Apologies for blooze lawyer sunglasses (I was drunk). I was using MXR Fuzz Face through Boss GEQ and M/B Mark I most of the time.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VpYQekcZ9Pg - studio recording of my band, The Atavists. This song is all jazzmaster through Altec equipped Mesa/Boogie Mark I and Hohner Orgaphon 20. I'm using MXR Micro Amp for louder sounds.

https://youtu.be/x2H8KvHrHLc?t=198 - a czech version of rig rundown featuring myself and my stuff (including the mentioned jazzmaster and van halenized mustang)

https://youtu.be/bG3Y2UoYTyM?t=1670 - soundboard recording of our last pre-covid gig.
Amazing jazzmaster, seen your demos before i thing, good stuff

I remember that Jag well, and I still refer to guitars of this caliber as 'crackwhore' guitars. My Mustang is pretty much a crackwhore at this point and I love it 😂.
Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?

i feel like a OSG meet where we all bring our jankiest guitars could be a fun idea. not quite vintage but i'm sure my vista jagmaster has enough wear.

Here's something REALLY old (2009) from when my 1964 Jazzmaster was still Pepto pink. Now it's CAR (thanks to rexter)

https://youtu.be/Jl6kkrTwFB8
Please disregard the at times outta tune singing (my backups included...)

...or jump to 3:35 for my glorious guitar solo, while you hear my old Roland RS-09 string synth crackling and dying. :fp:
Later on I disappear into the playing with delay pedals mantra (...yeah i also did that...) and I still cry laughing about the singer's frustrated evil eye look when I just wouldn't stop, and so he had to introduce himself to the audience. That was a great gig, but our last one.
Susy the drummer quit the day after, and the bassist in the video was just a surrogate for the bassist who hadn't shown up in ages.
You'll find other videos in my channel of the bands I had later on with the same singer (same songs, too)... plus other offset related stuff and demos. Many of em now quite embarrassing, but hey... ::) Those were the days.

Never found out who that dude was, definitely a post on osg though.
I'll get back on stage someday, my life is trending in that direction again.

I’ve spent so much time trawling through threads on this forum, but only just realised i’ve not come across many videos of all these beautiful vintage offsets being played! Can we get a thread going where we post vids of our vintage offsets? Bonus points if being used live!

Here is a vid of my yamaha sg3 being put through it’s paces to start us off.

Can’t remember if I asked this already but do you guys want or need another guitarist cuz I’m available

I like this. Especially with the story to the solo and the band. :)
