I don't know what to make of this but I love it aesthetically. Even the neck plate looks amazing. It probably plays like hot garbage but appears to be in good shape. That trem arm isn't compensating for anything.

That is a great shape! Has sort of an offset tele vibe or something.

It looks really cool. For me that's too much money for what is basically a great tool for learning all the ins and outs of guitar setup, with no guarantee of having a good sounding guitar afterwards. But I have no idea of how much it is supposed to be worth in the first place !

Crazy cool looking, but I wouldn't touch it, because, as you say, it will play like hot garbage.

Yes, looks definitely very cool.
BUT the price is insane...
The description tells already that there is a setup needed. This is nice said for "it´s impossible to give it a proper setup" I guess...
My experience with russian guitars: I had a few in my hands. The necks where always the most horrible you can find...
Sound: Thin... simply bad... not comparable to other cool 60´s guitars. Eko, Framus, Guyatone, Klira, Höfners, all sound better imo.
At last it depends on your own taste with the sound and what music you play of course...
Nice that it comes with bag and description, yes.
It´s something for a bar for example to hang on the wall at last...
It starts... when it begins.

These guitars look cool. They are basicly Eko knock off's .
Unfortunaty, the craftmanship on those is not anywhere near good.
Super microphonic low output pick ups. necks are well, not good.
The hardware feels like it's made from tin cans....

They sometimes show up here in western Europe on used gear sites.
I played a few out of curiosity, but never got one, because there are way better old guitars....
These are nice for wall decoration purposes imho....

A lot of those old Russian/soviet guitars are really cool. Some because they actually look good, some because they’re so ugly/out there that they’re cool… too bad tye build and hardware quality is usually crap and often the years haven’t been kind to them either.

I believe there’s a boutique builder, Walsh guitars, that makes custom guitars based on some of those old designs though.

This one, called the “Tonika” is apparently the first mass produced soviet solid body. The soviet equivalent of a Tele I guess, just twice as cool and three times as ugly.
