Hello! New here, was sent over by the fine folks at Strat-Talk.
I’ve been sitting on a Mustang project for YEARS, and due to the current um, scenario, I think it’s time to part ways with this killer body.
Problem is, I really don’t know anything about it...looks authentic to me but was hoping I could confirm that with y’all as well.
My “guess” is ‘73? I bought it many years ago as a ‘72, but it’s recently come to my attention that only the competition colors were available at that time.
Any thoughts? Year? Condition? Authentic?
And of course...what the heck should I price it at? Most of the bodies I see for sale are in rough shape, red, blue, or stripped.
Thanks so much for your help!!!

Does it have contours? I can't tell from the photos.
I think that started in '74, so you have a narrow window.
The gloppiness under the guard is odd, the poly finishes are usually very smooth, although the color change is right. It looks to me like it's a sunburst that was sprayed white, based soley on these two pics.
Prices are way up on mustangs currently. If that is the original finish, it should be worth $350-400 i think.
