Lock down guitar web mooching caused me to get good deal a new old stock Surf Green Duo-Sonic. ( not the humbucker thing.) Plays lovely and it’s pretty also matches a Squier Vista Musicmaster bass I have, like I’m kitting up for a surf band...
I’m contemplating the bridge pickup, is it a little anemic? Lacking a bit of sparkle? I’m still wondering.
I’m wondering on if anyone had found the perfect replacement pickup?
I don’t want any fat sounding hot pickup and without any real spec of the Fender part hard to know which way to go.
Q pickups on eBay looks a decent punt.
Has anyone used these in a Duo-sonic or Mustang?
