I've heard people call Les Pauls boat anchors, but this is ridiculous.

To add to it... It hangs outside... bolted to a ship.
Probably has another one bolted in a matching location on the other side of the ship. Insane A-holes are really into symmetry, I've been told.
No fucking way tell me where that boat is right now and in 5 days we’ll have a fun new restoration thread to post in

I was going to say it, luckily it ain't a real Gibson. Rosewood fretboard? Slotheads on the bridge? A Gibson-logo so low on the headstock?

For that authentic sea-ravaged relic finish, so yacht-core

This claims to be a 59 JM, wear looks like a really brutally bad relic. Who knows. Hope this one is a fake too.

Looks pretty accurate to me, except for the body finish (I believe there should be paint in the neck pocket.)

It almost goes without saying that this Nocaster is tragic, but I find myself wanting to hear it. The lack of tophat switches makes me think it got actual use, and that the mods were not random. The controls and extra weight might be awkward, to say nothing of three cords (not three chords). Playing it would be like walking around in an old diving suit.

One hopes these mods were made back when this would have been a cheap old guitar that nobody cared about, much less a $75K rarity. The bridge pickup is original and the P90 is vintage.

Woah!!! Hahahahah, that's mental!!!

I can only imagine what the routing is like. Either an intricate web of detailed & defined passageways....or one massive swimming pool.

The wiring pinched under the control plate bugs me, but other than that it does look like it was made by someone who had a very specific plan.
