"Priceless"

:D

And 'The Nirvana generation' are 40-50 years old now and earning decent coin. There won't be any wholesale decreases in vintage/collectible guitar pricing.

yeah. there's a lot of gen x who are currently making pretty decent money. usually from the tech side of things. my friend who works in game development said the game directors are usually people who were teenagers in the 90's. my friend walked in wearing a mudhoney t-shirt and the director was going crazy chatting with him saying how he bought an original opamp big muff on reverb for like £500 because it's what a lot of his heroes like steve turner and billy corgan used. tbh my favorite story about this game director was when we seen converge and he nudged me saying "see that guy in his mid 40's throwing shapes in the pit? that's my boss"

but from what my friend was telling me, a lot of these dudes who work in some form of tech are usually loaded, also given bellvue/seattle is in washington and the amount of big tech companies there, i think that's likely going to dictate who buys it. so if it turns out one of the dudes that runs twitch or discord (not the record label) buys it, i'm not surprised.

The auction of Cobain’s guitar will also include an NFT (Non Fungible Token) of his longtime guitar tech Earnie Bailey discussing its importance.
