My 1962 Jaguar
I bought my fist vintage guitar yesterday, a 1962 Fender Jaguar.
Photo Album
It has a neck date of 1 OCT 1962. It looks like a laminated rosewood fretboard, flat pole pickups. Everything looks stock to me, but I will happily defer to the experts here!
I am definitely in love. It's strung with flatwound 11s right now, and that is probably where I will leave it.

Re: My 1962 Jaguar
Very nice, congrats! My '62 is only a few weeks younger than yours, NOV 62. The 1 at the beginning denotes model number, 1 being Jaguar.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine, I've had it about 3 years now and it still brings me joy just to look at it.

Thanks, all. I have put in about 10 hours of playing time over the past three days, and I love it. This one is a keeper.
