I guess the UB-Xa finally has its firmware sorted out and they're making some units to send to beta testers for the next few months. Or years. We'll see.

But at least there's some news on that front. Maybe now we're a year out. Most people would have been more than delighted with a function for function clone of the original, so this extra stuff they've added better be something special.
Ah, waiting...

Here in Italy, more units of Korg 2600 are coming.
My fellow retailer is receiving one today or tomorrow

Good lord. I added my own angry comment. This one they deserve to get pilloried for. Sued, even. Where's my Fauxberheim, Lebowski?

Me too. They are over $2K though, possibly closer to $3K. A lot of damn money for a synth, but the binaural aspect is super cool. And all analog controls with no menu-diving. PLUS! They come in this super sexy blue as opposed to just white or black:

So cool. I've always had a real fondness for that kind of toggle switch they use. Loved 'em on 70s stereos and Atari 2600s, I'd even love to build a new case for my casio keyboard and integrate them into it. They're just...

I played a prototype at Superbooth last year. Incredible synth. It sounds just as good as it looks and it's just a ton of fun to create sounds on it.

Will stick with my soft synths and usb controller through my bass amp. However, the mono/poly might be worth it.

My MPC Live stopped working with modular all of a sudden... that was my entire setup. Love the MPC, and it just got an update that added a drum synthesizer with some melodic fm synth stuff too. might just have to get a different midi-cv module.

havent had a synth in a couple years. been drooling over the behringer offerings. pro one and vp-330 are two of my favourite synths with both behringer reissues attainably priced. grabbed the pro-1 as it was cheaper and am now convinced when my stimulus comes through, i will be grabbing a vc340. best bang for buck i have personally experienced.
