Fanner offset ukuleles?

Post by Tele295 » Sat Jul 02, 2022 7:28 am

Fanner is a South African company that makes electric and solid body ukuleles. Of course, we are immediately drawn to the Ocelot (Jaguar style) and the Jazz Mistress (self explanatory)

My wife is considering the Jazz Mistress with the soap bar looking pickups, in shell pink, of course. Can’t find a video of someone playing one clean.

Anybody have any experience with these?

No experience, but these are amazing!!!

Also, based on their Etsy store pictures, it looks like they are willing to make some lefties too!!

Oh whoops - just reread your post about not finding a video of one being played clean - not sure about the videos I linked to

I'm impressed with the custom plates on that Ocelot. Nice detail.

These are pretty cool. I like the fact they've gone to the effort of making mini working versions of the vibrato system on some too. And I spotted a block neck on one of their previous builds :w00t:

I have the electro-acoustic Fender JM uke and it's great fun.

It wouldn't surprise me if Fender did something like this at some point themselves
