I paid $1K Canadian for my pair of brand new KH120s.. These are great monitors..
Id assume the new 150s are pretty killer as the 310s and 420s are insane.
The KH80s are decent but the 120s are a step above. The closeback headphones
are amazing, havent tried the new open back ones yet

But it was back when the Sennheiser Rep was really good with scoring us deals.
I think I paid $550 each for a pair of 441's and about $500 each for a pair of TLM 120s's
And a really good deal on 3 421s. Can't remember what else I got..
My total bill was something like $5000.. but It was over $10K in gear

Dang. Those are good prices. I have all of about $90 in my current setup and have a bunch of recording-related expenses coming up (paying other people to do it) , so I'm probably going to have to just sit tight for a bit.

Thread update!

I just scored a pair of CEntrance 2504s in a neighborhood free pile tonight, so I'm gonna give em' a spin for a while. The imaging is fantastic. I'm still getting used to the low mids, but they are quite non-fatiguing and pretty honest sounding for a coax.

Looking forward to doing some mixing with em!

Still getting to know these.

The slight low mid murk is a bit frustrating. I think the room is a big factor, and my amp is probably contributing a bit as well.

Love the mids and highs and pinpoint imaging. Perfect for sitting close and mixing at low volume as I like to. I think in terms of width and depth my mixes have never been better.

I’m overall happy enough with these that I’m going to live with them for a while and work on making improvements in other areas.
