Looks like you've got it sorted, but Seventh Circle Audio is back under new ownership, and the chassis is way better looking and more sensible in terms of form factor.

Their C84 is about $200 per channel fully assembled, and is about as nice as you could want in a "straight wire with gain" type of pre. The chassis itself is another $300 and can hold up to eight modules. You could load it with four channels for $1100 and have room to add more in the future.
