Blonde, then fiesta red
burgundy mist not a great idea
LPB would be a tragedy

Re: Spitfire and which Jazzmaster?
This is what I was thinking, but I think they all look good in their own way. I'm thinking of the blonde even tho I like the gold guard on it...but then again I can try the gold on something else...? As much as I am morally opposed to tort on LPB, I think it looks kinda good in this case.PixMix wrote:My 1st choice: Blonde

Maybe I've had too much to drink but it looks a lilltle boring on the blonde.
I'm going BMM - for the meantime.

Re: Spitfire and which Jazzmaster?
I'm still liking it on the BMM strangly, but it would be fun to put it on the blonde and try the gold guard on a different JM.
John, you should take pics of all of your JM's with the gold guard and mint guards too. Then we could see all of the different permutations. I volunteer you for this project! It's for the good of OSG.

Re: Spitfire and which Jazzmaster?
I definitely need to restring the blonde so while I have the strings off I'll pull the guard too. But I think I'm going to put the Spitfire on the BMM for now at least. I'll post pics of the gold guard on the others and the BMM when I put the Spitfire on it.

Re: Spitfire and which Jazzmaster?
Houston we may have a little bit of a problem...
I am going to have to widen the pot holes on the guard a little bit somehow since they don't quite fit but here's what it will look like...kinda...
Also the OEM guard is a little wider by the jack and as a result the shielding will show a little bit...unless I cut it...
