However, I do like anodized gold with fiesta red, too.

Tort, but it can't be too dark or too red. Finding the right balance is key IMO

Another good color on faded Fiesta Red is anodized gold. The Fiesta Red P-bass and Telecaster models sometimes sport gold and it is a killer look.

+1 for gold. I love that mid 50s custom colour look.

I am planning a fiesta red tele build with a parchment guard so thats my vote, but the tortoiseshell Surfysonic posted looked really nice. Normally dislike them but it might make me change my mind

I am forever haunted by the '63 Fiesta JM I saw in a shop with a meatball Tort guard. The guitar must have sat in the Arizona sun for a decade, it was faded to a wonderful reddish pink. The neck didn't fare so well, bits of the fingerboard kept flaking off and poking me when I tried to play it
