The pink appearance of the Mary Kaye Strat is derived from the swamp ash body. The finish is of course, white blonde.

Was thinking about this old post. Kinda cool.
So what about maybe a maple fret board . Are we going for the imaginary '56 Mary Kaye jazz and Jag.
And how about a Electric XII mary kaye, can you imagine...

I don't quite have the pair... but not too far off.
The Mary Kaye finish is absolutely the most beautiful Strat I reckon. And as i've detailed before, I was overjoyed when my white JM turned out to be blonde.

I really Like that '56 Ash Translucent Blond look and gold hardware. But a strat just doen't look right with that combo and a rosewood neck. There is something about those Jazz & Jag pics here that look pretty good tho.

Re: Mary Kaye JM + Mary Kaye Jag.
Hi I'm resuscitating this thread because I came across it wondering if I'm the only one who wants a Mary Kaye Jag. Love the Jaguar look but don't like the 24" scale.
Last year, after many years of wanting to, and planning for it, I finally did a conversion of an '05 CP Jazzmaster into a 25.5" HS Jaguar. It's become one of my favorites, but I also have too many sunburst guitars.
I started thinking about switching to gold hardware, and that led me to thinking about going Mary Kaye with a refin or a body swap. Problem is, Mary K + Rosewood just seems wrong for me, but so does a Jag with maple. What a dilemma! Anyone tried either of these?
