Reintroducing myself as I joined back in 2019 but never got around participating and proceeded to forgot about this forum's existence. Anyways, I went on to build my first offset, an offset tele. I love the body shape and have since gotten the itch to build a more traditionally appointed jazzmaster; hence my return to the forum to absorb all the offset knowledge that I can!
For those interested in my offset tele, it's got:
-A Warmoth roasted maple neck, 1-11/16 nut, SS frets, compound radius, and the 59' roundback contour which is perfect for my hand
-A Warmoth swamp ash body which I stained with tea, finished in tru oil, and took down to a satin finish
-Cavalier "Fat Lion" tele bridge pickup and a Roadhouse Pickups (R.I.P.) "Kingston" neck pickup (similar to the Supro reissue "goldfoils")
-Four way switch with a series wiring position, volume, tone, and bass cut knobs
-Fender bridgeplate with Wilkinson swiveling/adjustable tele saddles, and Hipshot locking tuners

Re: Reintroduction?
Welcome back.
That's a beaut.

Re: Reintroduction?
Thank ya! Hmm I don't remember exactly how many coats, but I know I built it to a pretty high shine and then knocked it back to satin using Birchwood Casey "Stock Sheen" (a product made for that purpose)
