Greetings,

Been lurking for a few months and decided to officially join the site. So much great content here!

About me, I spent years chasing the dream of getting my band signed to a major label. We built up a big local following, then a regional presence, toured a lot and nearly got signed a couple of times. Eventually we hit a wall of frustration and went our separate ways doing other things. Gave it our best shot anyways.

I love offsets and in my band years alternated between a 1969 Fender Jazz and a 1981 Precision. (Bassist by trade but also play guitar). Later during the band run I used a 1978 Musicman Stingray as well. A few years ago I picked up a MIM Jazzmaster and love the sounds I get out of it.

Looking forward to digging more into Offsetguitars.

What part of north TX? There's a bunch of offset lovers floating around up here for sure, but it's Les Paul/Strat state (or it is every guitar show I go to!)

Small world, l lived in Denton in the early 1990's. My band was active from late 1984 to 1990.
