I'm a long time reader in this forum and I've been an offset-enthusiast for more than 20 years.
Soon after picking up the guitar in the mid to late 90s I started to lean towards those stranger Fender guitars. Owning a cheap Strat-copy and soon after that a knock-off Tele - all I wanted was a Mustang. Although we had Switzerland's (back then) largest music store within reach of a few miles from where I lived - nothing like the desired Japanese Mustang was available. One day however - it must have been in late 1999 - a sunburst Fender Cyclone with that fancy zebra Atomic HB was hanging on the wall there. It turned out to be a true "shelf warmer" and sat there for months, my parents finally got me that guitar in the year 2000. A few years later in 2006 I decided to get a Japanese CAR Jaguar B&B straight from Ishibashi, it was my go-to guitar for many years in a former band, and the rest of my offsets is history. Also i use the Buzz-Stop in conjunction with the Japanese vibrato on two of my guitars
