Preoccupations and Protomartyr in November. And it's at Lee's Palace (small venue), so it should be a good show 8)
Hey! I just started listening to Preoccupations. I hope you enjoy their concert
@aliendawg, the show was last night and it was amazing. Both bands sounded great! Preoccupations played quite a mix of material, kicking off with a string of older, Viet Cong tracks. If you get a chance to catch them, definitely do!

saw Ministry last night. The opening band was mostly instrumental, but had prerecorded lead vocals on a couple of songs. Is that a new thing?

Voivod
Overkill + Death Angel
Air
DRI

Took my four year old son to his first concert, at Record Surplus in Los Angeles to see George Tomsco (The Fireballs) and Three Balls Of Fire. He had a blast. Here are some pics and video, in which you can see Mr Tomsco’s Jazzmaster.https://imgur.com/gallery/1JwGYaO

Last night was Wrekmeister Harmonies, which was some really lovely droney post-rock-y stuff - I saw them a few years ago with Marissa Nadler, but had forgotten how great they are. I haven't given their new album the attention it deserves yet, but will be looking to rectify that over the next few days.

Last Tuesday night was Low, which was also amazing - first time at the Tramway for them, and the staging really suited them.

Not sure I can hack too many Tuesday night gigs though - feeling it this morning!

Swervedriver next Saturday, Chromatics/Desire in May, possibly Stereolab in September if I ask off on a Friday and drive to Austin. Never driven 6 hours for a show, but I like the town and there's a chance I could stay with my brother in law...

Alvvays are playing this summer with The National but tickets are 60 fuckin' dollars and I'm pretty indifferent to The National.

Unless something super cool pops up near me, the only concert I've got planned this year is seeing the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra playing the live movie score during a screening of The Empire Strikes Back ;D 8)
