Well, I'm going to see the Pumpkins tomorrow, and My Bloody Valentine later in the year, but aside from that I've nothing planned. I might try to make it to see DJ scotch egg tomorrow night after the Pumpkins, too.

American Music Club
Bruce Springsteen
is what's booked for now - I hope for MBV to come to Scandinavia too (they do play at Roskilde Festival, but I won't go there this year...)

Re: the "whats on your concert list" thread
Going to see Hijak Oscar tomorrow.
Saw them on a crappy TV show - a kind of Pop Idol for indie bands. They were the only really good band on it.
My Bloody Valentine & Mars Volta too. Nothing else yet.

Re: the "whats on your concert list" thread
Einstürzende Neubauten at the end of april.
Low, earlier in april, if i can afford to travel to Stockholm or Copenhagen
In august there's a festival called Way Out West in my town, which is nice since i've definitely outgrown sleeping in tents and being drunk four days in a row... The only decent confirmed bands so far are Okkervil River and Yeasayer, but it'll probably shape up. Last year they had Low, Architecture In Helsinki, Devendra Banhart, The Pogues, The Go! Team, Primal Scream, etc.

So far just Southern Culture on the Skids on April 17th in Portland.
I wanted to go see Tom Petty at the Gorge, but I'm certain we're gigging that weekend. It's right in the busiest part of festival and fair season.

Neubauten in May
Cave in April
Probably shitloads of unknown bands I end up liking better than any name band.
Oh, and I noticed Barry Adamson is gigging again, although at least for the time being not anywhere even remotely close to me, so for now it's rather academic. But his MySpace mentions that EU (and USA) dates might be added later. If you're in the UK or Aus, do check him out!
