Aside from one piece of obvious filler this album rules, and even the filler is pretty great.

Jeffrey Lee Pierce - Wildweed :-* Despite the fretless bass and the 80’s production this is a killer album. He plays guitar like Verlaine or Lloyd and sings like and angel  Damn it’s good! Bought it when it came out in 85 (86?) and still listen to it on a regular basis 💯🌶❤️

Yes!!! A fantastic album.

Off on a tangent, slightly...do you know the track "Old Laughing Lady" by Neil Young?

She, along with 5 other vocalists sings an incredibly soulful break, midway through the song. It's something you won't hear on any of his other albums (that I know of) but it's wonderful! Like a golden sunrise & a reason why that track is one of my all-time favourites. Great chords to play too.

Seconded. I love this album. Didn’t know that Neil Young track featured her. Not surprised- sung on so many classic albums.

Today I’m reacquainting myself with how good the Beatles were live after 3 years off touring. Impressive. pleased that the rooftop concert is streaming on Spotify https://open.spotify.com/album/6emgUTD ... 7_5pCOxJFQ
