I quite liked that. What kind of a setup are you using? I'm starting to dislike drummers too...

Continuing my pandemic solo stuff. Put out a 3 song release of hypnotic guitar stuff. Sort of in the vein of David Pajo's music if you're into that. I'm planning a full length of guitar instrumentals soon.
Appreciate anyone checking it out (:

Thanks. Its definitely in need of some good vocals and to actually be mixed.

Just used EZdrummer with altrock and dreampop. And Kuassa sims. In reaper, with a few general plugins, reverbs and things.

We have a new EP coming out, so I thought I'd make my first attempt at cobbling together a video using old Public Domain footage

One of my bands ended as the songwriter moved back to NZ (very understandably).

my first full length album since 2017 is out this morning, and i'm feeling pretty proud of it!
i've done other things in the meantime, like minimal experimental stuff, i released a "movie soundtrack" for a non-existent italian horror film last month, but this one is my baby. it's how i made it through the last year of the pandemic. I really enjoyed writing and recording this one. i am also really glad to no longer be working on it, because it lets me start something new. hopefully some of you like it! :)

In March last year I was looking to do some recording finally with amps and mics while the kids were in school. Then, suddenly I couldn’t do any of that. So by April I realized I could either be miffed about it or I could play the hand I was dealt. So I dove into recording all direct with amp software et al. After my wife and kids went to bed, I recorded for a few hours, 3-4 nights a week .

The songs are all instrumentals, which is what I tend to do. From May to November I did four EPs, two single/bside, and one standalone song. 22 tracks altogether. There’s a variety of styles but it all seems to work. (A few songs were me attempting another band’s sound as a personal challenge, in case you hear anything fishy).

This is an abridged 12 song playlist (The first five songs sum things up nicely, though).

This is the full 2020 Chronological playlist. An hour and a half.

I'm sure some Fender dealer in '64 looked at the new Duo-Sonic II and thought, "That's not a Duo-Sonic. That's a Mustang".

Might not be everyone's shtick but I've been going through a Rickie Lee Jones 'Skeleteons, On Saturday Afternoons', Thurston Moore 'Demolished Thoughts' phase lately.

I just finished recording this song called Afterglow which sort of covers my feeling about missed opportunities this year and a slow decent into agoraphobia, I guess it's been a while since I've been surrounded by the great multitude of humanity on the streets. So all this to say, I hope you guys dig the song !

Forgive me but I could not stop myself from recording this Neil Young song. It's just a nylon and vocals, plus some noodling.

Thanks!
You had me 100% for all 6 1/2 minutes of "Riding Out". That was really well done.
