Sounds great! I love the bubbly, choppy guitar chords. Reminds me a little of the Flaming Lips, in the best of ways.marqueemoon wrote: ↑Fri Mar 04, 2022 3:35 pmSomething a little different from my usual thing.

Thanks! Feels great to finally be done with it; everything on there was recorded pre-pandemic. We'll try and put the next one out this summer.marqueemoon wrote: ↑Fri Mar 04, 2022 3:46 pmThis is fantastic. Thanks. Yes, that’s an electric guitar performance I chopped up, filtered, flipped over and applied reverb to, etc…Sauerkraut wrote: ↑Sun Mar 06, 2022 2:43 amSounds great! The lap steel was handed in a similar way. I just wanted it to be a small, wispy thing.

I really like the overall vibe of the recording. I’m sure you sweated over it to get that, but the loose feel of it allows things to come and go and not be in your face at all times.
I’m hearing stuff like Bedhead, American Analog Set, and Giant Sand.

I decided to start putting some music up on Bandcamp. I'm a bit schizophrenic in what I have been recording (which I guess is not really a bad thing) but hopefully some of you might dig some of it. The tag should read "recommended if you don't want to have to make a decision". A little shoe gaze, a little Eno ambient, a little Nick Drake, a little orchestral, a little GBV...you get the picture. Recorded with the usual suspects around here-Jazzmasters & Jaguars.

I put up a new track on Bandcamp which features the Rankmaster guitar in case anyone was curious how it sounded. Definitely a Doves vibe on this. Part of me thought this would be better posted in our edibles thread!

My new EP "disparu" comes out on all platforms today
Feels super exciting to have it out after working on it the past few months
Lots of distorted jazzmaster action and angsty vocals lol
Appreciate anyone having a listen (:

My band Triptoy released a new album a few months ago.
It's progressive rock (in Spanish) with influences from bands like Pink Floyd, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead or Leprous.
Hope you like it!

My band The Atavists just released a new music video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-S1NllzF3yU
we were going for more indie-shoegazy vibe with this one. Contains a LOT of vintage combo organs (mainly Jolana Combo 1), feedback, spring reverb and my B&B Jazzmaster
the music video was really fun to make, hope it translates to audience as well
