After 3 years of recording and mixing (due to lineup changes and budget) our record was finally ready to be released and promoted... ..in the spring of 2020. Bad timing huh? We decided to release it anyway in July and did exactly one show for a seated audience of 50 instead of the planned tour.
Well, at least the show was sold out...
Our music is often described as Dinosaur jr. with Mark Lanagan on vocals. There's something undeniably early '90s to the sound. We don't try to sound like that, we do whatever we want, but somehow we end up with this.
On this record we used an early '70s comp mustang, an 50th anniversary Jaguar, a Johnny Marr Jaguar, A japanese Jaguar and a modern player Jaguar Bass, so it should be right at home on this forum :)

Here's my latest band project. Punk, Punk and more punk. Think mid-eighties Germs and Bad Brains. We're located in Providence, RI.

some nice stuff on here!
will take me some time to wade through all of it. good thing most myspace links are dead, hah.

https://condorgruppe.bandcamp.com/

our bandcamp.
we're a 9-piece band, playing a sort of psych take on spaghetti western soundtracks with some krautrock influences here and there.
hell, we even have a sitar player.
lots of (squier) jazzmasters on there, though live i mostly play a dano 12 string to complement the two other guitarists.

new record in the making, but it hasn't been an easy process with current circumstances what they are..

anyway, enjoy!

new wave cover band. our first gig, actually, so don't expect too much.
video starts at 6'00" - was a covid live stream.
at 30' in, there's a version of Grauzone's Eisbär where the DIY fuzz circuit built in to my JM makes a small appearance in the outro.
just for fun :)

Demo of mine on bandcamp. Most of my stuff so far has been instrumental but i've been writing songs for years they've just not made their way into a released format yet and none of my bands have lasted but i was so proud of this one i wanted to just release it as soon as.

Here's a link to some country from my band, The Malpaso Gang.

https://open.spotify.com/album/4H4Ozalp ... l_branch=1

The first track features some offset action in the form of my 1968 Danelectro made Silvertone, possibly on other tracks too but I can't remember what I used. :)

Our first ever physical release came in a few days ago. We kept everything as DIY as possible and even at 50 copies, it ended up being a lot more work than I had imagined. Still. Super happy with how it turned out... to have participated in the process and to have this documented and preserved.
