Dinner with Blonde Redhead

Post by Mighty_Zoltan » Sun Sep 24, 2023 2:05 am

So did anyone gets tickets to one of these events? I’m going tomorrow in London. Not sure what to expect! Their new album is called “sit down to dinner” and you can sit down to dinner with them in a nice restaurant. Good PR idea!

Interesting. I didn’t know they had something new coming out.

I bet they have pretty good taste in food.

Blonde Redhead’s early work is some of my favourite music. I’d love to sit down with them and pick their brains a bit.

same 3 as it ever was.
I used to be cool, now I just complain about prices.

Not to be pedantic, but twice in the early years there was a fourth member. Maki Takahashi from 93-95 and Toko Yasuda briefly in 95. They were both bassists.
One played on Blonde Redhead and the early EPs, and the latter played on La Mia Vita Violenta, so they do count.
But yeah, it’s just been The Pace brothers and Kazu since then, as far as I know.

My dude, they are in my top 5 favorite bands of that era so yes, I am aware of Maki/Toko and when Vern was sort of in the band. It was pedantic but it's all good.
