Yea, it really is. Calexico are great. Saw them at the Winnipeg Folk Festival in 2009. They were incredible live.

she's great, i'm glad you liked it! (I did mean to attach the link but something weird happened with the post and I can't see the edit button anywhere) - i think you'll find a lot to like in her music anyway

Maybe checkout Heroin In Tahiti, they do instrumental stuff with lots of spaghetti western, exotica, old sound track styled tracks.
