I don’t even know if I’d have anything to say if I met her. Not in the sense “oh my gosh ahh!!”, but more like, “I don’t know you as a person, but I think your music makes this world a better place so, have a great day, I guess?” I once bought a shirt at an Acid King show and it was Lori who sold it to me (she’s very chill and down to earth) and I just smiled and didn’t say anything. I mean, it was kinda special, but I’m sure she didn’t need to hear another guy point out how good their latest record was.

Can't resist jumping in here to mention that I drove Frances to Edinburgh for her Iyengar Yoga teaching certification assessment. (My ex did yoga teacher training alongside her.)

Further proof that everyone knows everyone in Glasgow....

ya know, before i moved to glasgow, i would have been like "BULLSHIT" but now i live here and i regularly see members of mogwai, the vaselines, franz Ferdinand, belle and Sebastian, dananananakroyd and the pastels, i'm inclined to believe you

maybe. honestly half the time i don't even ask for photos if i can help it. it feels so lame.

anyway, one female fronted band i love but i feel are always worth a mention. rolo tomassi. i seen them in like 09 and eva is something else

I need to listen to them more. I only recently listened to the one with “Cannonball” all the way through, and I liked it a lot.

At this point I just want to add Tsunami Bomb, and Luminous Orange.

First band that comes to my mind is Skunk Anansie. Then I’d say PJ Harvey and Daisy Chainsaw. Not necessarily all in that order though.
