To me, Silver Apples were every bit as vital & groundbreaking as Kraftwerk and Suicide.
When you listen to them now it's like they had some kind of intense vision from the future, finding a new direction fusing 60s lyrical styles with 80s-90s synthesised beats. So far ahead of their time!!!

Absolutely ahead of their time and influential to some good folks. Can’t imagine late period Portishead (will they ever return?) and Beak sounding they way they do without Silver Apples.
