Red Medicine is my favorite. I feel like that’s where they really come into their own as a band. It’s like they finally allowed themselves to let go of being a punk band and got both weirder and more pop.
Bed For The Scraping is a just a monster of a song. I wish I could capture even a small fraction of that energy on a recording.
bed for the scraping is my 2nd favorite song on that album. my favorite is long distance runner just because THAT FUCKING BASSLINE IS SO NASTY IT MAKES ME GRIMACE.
witness and grimace to this bassline

Yep. So many good songs and the sequencing is also top notch.

Red Medicine is great too. The only one I don't totally love is Killtaker. It's just a bit too disjointed for me. It's still okay, just not among my favorites.

i feel like your favorite fugazi album says a lot about you and killtaker always screams "i read pitchfork and think i'm better than you" i like killtaker but i kinda think it falls flat in places

Smallpox Champion is a Jam. Red Medicine's my favorite though.

Killtaker, Red Medicine, then End Hits are tied for #1 for me.
KT probably because I bought it the day it came out and hadn't really heard much else from them. RM and EH because its more of what i'm into now.
If you'd have asked me at 15 i'd have said 13 Songs or Repeater.

Repeater is my favorite, Steady Diet is #2 and Kill taker is 3rd.
I love this band so much, they show you anything is possible with little to no effects usage
I used to be cool, now I just complain about prices.

You can put me into the 13 songs camp, followed by repeater.
I will say, my favorite fugazi jam isn’t on either of those two records: long division.

I got reeeaaally into Fugazi in my late teens, mostly from BMX videos and finding Red Medicine on cassette in a branch of Sam Goody. I then became a little obsessed, though I never got to see them. End Hits was the last one I bought new and liked that, thought it sounded quite different again, never heard The Argument.........
Think my favourite will always be Steady Diet of Nothing, In On The Killtaker always sounds bleak to me, but that may just be because I associate it with a very rainy winter! As someone else pointed out, they're all at least 7/10s......

My favorite is now and has always been the demo. I guess that mainly says that I’m old. Now seems as good a time as any to bust out a picture of the tape I got from Ian in 1988. It doesn’t have “Turn Off Your Guns” or “Joe #1” on it. Maybe Ian had refined the “official” tracklist by then or maybe he was just mad at me because the first copy he sent got lost in the mail and he had to send another one.
