I love to hate on U2 since their music has sucked for decades.
However.
I watched this performance on YT and damn, I cried.

I did too, lol! The war in Ukraine is a heartbreak for me. (As is the seldom spoken fact that many Russians who oppose the war are being sent to prison.) But I was very much moved by the bright faces of the choir singers, making great music with these old dudes. When their notes hit, their eyes exploded with feeling and emotion.
Glad they had such opportunity to showcase their talents.
I'm also somewhat impressed with the Edge's approach to acoustics. It's definitely a choppy, rock approach, but if he does that on his next record with electrics, and crank it up a bit, the record could be quite good.
By the way, for any guitarists out there, let me recommend a song that has always moved me. It's not particularly well known to English speakers, but golden in Latin America, which has suffered much in history: Mercedes Sosa (sp?) "Solo la pido a Dios." It's legendary.
