I've never seen slo-blo on vinyl but would gladly scoop it up if i did. I was looking at cars get crushed on discogs yesterday, feeling the old stuff a lot lately.
IIRC, it was only released on vinyl in Europe. Copies are so cheap that it’s easy to absorb the shipping costs, though…

I was looking for it yesterday on discogs and saw that, same as the mystery machine - glazed vinyl pressings EUROPE only smfh
I used to be cool, now I just complain about prices.

I preordered Caitlin Rose’s new album, looking forward to picking that up today.

Divided up the vinyl with my ex today. Not a fun activity.

Definitely a different feeling than I woke up with.

Sorry to hear that :( that's a rough way to spend the day.

Thanks. Had to be done & now it’s out the way. I said “take whatever you want”. Regret that a little bit. But I’ve broken her heart and moved out. She’s been brave & supportive throughout the breakup, even though it’s not what she wants. Me having an emotional connection to records is really not important at this point. Good exercise in self-reflection.

siouxsie & the banshees - all souls (impulse buy, nothing new on it)
le volume courbe - fourteen years

visiting amsterdam & paris for a long weekend. made a list of record shops, but open to recommendations for places that stock 80's/90's indie/punk/metal.

Dead Milkmen's Metaphysical Graffiti reissue - the spoken word tracks (cousin earl...) are on a separate 7". includes a Methodist coloring book.

Toni Halliday's solo album - pretty bad. I had the 7" & was hoping the deep cuts would be good, but... a lot of "late 80's top-40" trends on 1 disc

Slayer's Reign in Blood - I still have my original, but this was sealed & 25 euros from a flea market. Was really hoping it was a steal, but turned out to be a bootleg. A high quality bootleg though & sounds really good

Lally Stott - Chirpy chirpy cheep cheep. Always liked the Lush version. Figured I should have the original

France Gall - Poupee de Cire... - I like her 60's stuff.

Picked up a couple of Father John Misty albums in the rough trade sale today: God’s Favourite Customer & Chloe.

The latter sounds amazing on my hifi. And I also really like the flow of that album, even if a lot of the songs aren’t exactly memorable. Just a great listen.

For Christmas my parents got me In Time: best of REM 88-03. An album I lost in the split

Recently picked up best of REM at the BBC. The track listing on the vinyl is perfect.

Others:
The wonder years - hum goes on forever
The City - now that everything’s been said (Carole King pre-solo)

Kind of a mixed bag over here lately, as usual. Mostly old stuff:

• Warsaw/Joy Division – Demos
• Nikki Lane – Denim & Diamonds
• Jerry Garcia Band – Cats Under The Stars
• Jane's Addiction – Nothing's Shocking
• PJ Harvey – Dry
• Ramones – 1975 Demos
• Mike Watt – Contemplating The Engine Room

Now selling a lot of vinyl to downsize. Some pretty rare.

Message me if you’re UK & want the list. Maybe we can come to a deal :)

Matt
