Weird band name trends

Post by jorri » Thu Oct 06, 2022 3:58 am

Maybe its some algorythm enforced social media tunnel but has anyone noticed around 10+ bands appear recently which all have the name "Holy []". I wonder the reason it just is tripping me out. They seem to be on the gaze/psych spectrum and not worship music or anything.

Holy Hive are an awesome drummer led soul duo on Triple Crown.
I have nothing to offer anybody, except my own confusion?

Lots of "Sun" bands going around too.
If it wasn't for disappointment, I wouldn't have any appointments.

I’m in a “Sun” band, but it’s been a thing since 2017.

It'll be nice if we're moving on to this from the trend of using the letter V to replace W and U.

Wonder if we'll get a band called Holy Chvrch VVaves?
The artist formerly known as mbene085.

Started as the singer’s solo project under the same name, so when we became an actual band is a bit murky.
