Love 'em.

"Stop Making Sense" .. one of the finest live films ever. And it's got a giant suit in it .. what's not to like?

What a great band. I've been listening to And She Was a lot lately - very few bands, ever, who achieved such a successful synthesis of experimental and popular. Maybe Radiohead. But they're NAMED after a TH song, so you kind of get the impression that they took TH as their model for success.

Those first four records are masterpieces. I especially love "More Songs" and "Fear of Music".  David has a very cool blog/journal here: http://journal.davidbyrne.com/ Smart guy.  Also a great rhythm guitar player. I love his funky-mustang rhythm on "Paper."

A huge band in my world, right up there with the Velvets and Television!

The Name Of This Band Is Talking Heads has to be the best live album since Live At Leeds and it really shows what an awesome guitarist Byrne was and the tracks with Adrian Belew were and are just mind-bending.  The cassette of this lived in my car stereo for over a year and I never got tired of it.  I bet I could sing you every word and every guitar, bass and keyboard part, too.

I completely agree with you about "The Name Of This Band Is Talking Heads". Easily one of my favourite records.
