I love the commitment we have here to necromancing & resuscitating ancient threads rather than start a new one. Commendable really.
Hear hear! What is the big deal?! I love looking through old threads that get revived. It’s the legacy of the site so why not love it?

Also the fact that nobody seems to give people grief for resurrecting old threads. I’ve been on boards before where people seem to get annoyed at olds threads coming back up from new members, but I’ve seen a few old threads resurrected recently and the whole conversations have started up again and everyone seems cool with it. I love that. :)

Also, I too assumed this was a new thread until I saw the post “after 10 years I resurrect this thread…” :D will teach me to look at post dates.
And no one cares if it goes way off topic!

This place rules.

The cool thing about fretless is you can hit a note...and then renegotiate.

If anything is certain of this place, it's the chance of us going off topic at any given moment :D :D

We like our conversation strings the way we like the waists of our guitars...off at a tangent
Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?

Haha. I love that too.
As the „search function“ often fails me I google whatever I‘m looking for and most of the times I end up on an ancient osg thread (like 2006-2013) with the exact question that I had but in most cases unanswered… and I do hesitate with resurrecting… but (to me) sometimes it‘s more of a clear follow up rather than worthy of a new thread. Would citing an old thread be the more accurate manner of dealing with the topic?
