Jesusonic Effects System (Linux-based processor)

Did you guys ever see this? It was a side project of the guy who created WinAmp, Justin Frankel. It seems to have sort of stopped development but these things sometimes morph into other interesting things...

i only knew about the Reaper DAW that they do...so I figured that it might have become the effects section of that and it has.

some cool ideas, but you could do most if not all of that with separate units albeit easier with a multi-unit like this...it's always a trade off...customize your tones with separate, unique sounding boxes and do the stomp box dance or get a multi for ease of use and live with the tones that it has. I use a hybrid system.

well the thing with doing it in software is you can write a new 'box' and slot it in so youre actually gaining flexibility
