Mine is in a similar enclosure. May be the same size as well. What are the 3 silver pedals in the upper right?fuzzjunkie wrote: ↑Sun Mar 20, 2022 9:20 amI only have a Reflex atm, but it’s a core pedal on my board.
I keep thinking about a smaller board that would have an EQ2 and a Collider, along with a LEM and a couple of fuzz pedals.
The 3 pedals from left to right: Basic Audio Scarab Deluxe, Fairfield Circuitry Four Eyes, and Basic Audio Gnarly fuzz.

I don’t know if I have a favorite per se. I like 3 basic fuzz categories and each one covers one of the 3.Unicorn Warrior wrote: ↑Tue Mar 22, 2022 5:12 amI’m just now really getting into the world of fuzz. Very neat pedalboard. Mine is in a similar enclosure. May be the same size as well. What are the 3 silver pedals in the upper right?
The 3 pedals from left to right: Basic Audio Scarab Deluxe, Fairfield Circuitry Four Eyes, and Basic Audio Gnarly fuzz.
The Gnarly is a raw, spitting, yet thick ‘60s fuzz. It can get a bit of octave fuzz tones too. Think Tonebender Mk-1, and Shin ei FY-2, with some Maestro FZ-1 thrown in. It is lower gain and can clean up to overdrive tones. I mostly use it for Mk-1 tones.
The Scarab Deluxe is higher gain and can cover more ground than the Gnarly. It’s basically a silicon Tonebender Mk-4 and can get Mk-2 sounds easily and some Mk-1 and Mk1.5 tones. It can go from overdrive to just short of a Big Muff as far as gain and sustain. More open and less compressed than a Muff, and more nasal upper mids that simply cut through any band. Unlike a Muff that sometimes disappears. It sits perfectly between a Fuzz Face and a Muff, but I mostly use it for Mk-2 tones.
The Four Eyes is the most versatile. It has 3 gain stages; fuzzy overdrive, mid-gain fuzz, and hi-gain fuzz. It also has 3 EQ band filters that fuzz their frequencies and a CV control for expression. It can do Fuzz Face at lower settings and Big Muff at higher settings. At extreme settings it starts adding octave and self oscillation.
The Reflex expression pedal can turn it into an overdriven wah, a fuzz wah, and the LFO function can do crazy filter sweeps or phase sweeps depending on the wave form and the gain settings. I get a nice Diamond Sea “ow-wow” sound out of it.

Got the Nobles ODR Mini from a nice post-punk dad who lives a few blocks down from me and it's been a real treat. Definitely lives up to the hype and sounds great with Telecasters.

I keep managing to squeeze more and more stuff on. I would like to trim it up a bit, but it's really tough because I'm actually using everything. It's also going through a '65 Fender tube reverb and an old Roland RE-101. The round foot switch is for the echo cancel on the RE-101.

Re: your effects setup?
It’s getting out of hand!
Thanks! I just added the old OD-2. It is one of the very last MIJ ones and it is great! I’ve been using it a ton. I bought it because it was really cheap (the battery snap had been cut out, which I replaced and it was really filthy) and never expected to like it this much. I particularly appreciate the way it responds to changes in the guitars volume similarly to a Fuzz Face. Until the last year or so I NEVER used the volume knobs on my guitars. I really missed out on a lot! With a Fuzz Face, there really is an entire palette of sounds in there. I think that’s why I love this Junior so much. It forces you to use the volume and tone a bunch to get the sounds that you need. But it starts to become second nature and that one p90 can do sooo much!

if you put the power bricks underneath, you'll have room for a few more pedals...i love sharin foo wrote: ↑Wed Mar 23, 2022 1:17 pmI keep managing to squeeze more and more stuff on. When I rolled up to his house to try it out the floor was covered in duplos. He was apologetic but I thought it just added to the vibe. We talked about Wire and stuff and the pedal was at a steal price.

I've heard some really good things about the Tumnus circuit. I've always wanted to try one. EQD Westwood might be up your alley to try out too.

I just ordered one this week, so I'll let you guys know how it isShadoweclipse13 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 12:25 pmI've heard some really good things about the Tumnus circuit. I've always wanted to try one. EQD Westwood might be up your alley to try out too.
Also love me a double chorus board! If you end up swapping for a flanger, I can enthusiastically endorse the Retrosonic if you want the Electric Mistress thing in a small format box.
