Sure thing. My friend Jason runs a 3D printing shop called Pedalnetics. They make all kinds of cool stuff:

If you order one, tell him you want one like Alex's from Talkbass. He customized mine a bit from the standard design. Mine is 3.25x3.25 but he can do custom sizes.

Re: your effects setup?
I would really like something that can do repeat percussion, so I’ll probably go with the EQD Hummingbird, which seems to be the most cost-effective option. I’d also love something that can do harmonic vibrato like a brownface Fender, but I can do without it for now. Back when I had real gear, a tube tape echo into a ‘62 Bandmaster with the trem cranked was completely sublime. Add some Blue Box, and it got absolutely otherworldly.

Re: your effects setup?
The Hummingbird is a fantastic tremolo pedal, easily my favorite. If you're looking to save some money, you could look for an older version (current is V3 I think?). The newest introduced the Flexi-Switching, but circuit-wise they are all pretty much the same (I've upgraded to the newer one from an older style, and loved both of them). I really wish Jamie and the EQD crew would give the Hummingbird the extra feature treatment like they did for the Pyramids flanger or the Avalanche Run. It would be cool to have an epic tremolo from them with more expression capabilities.blacktiger wrote: ↑Thu May 26, 2022 8:15 amI would really like something that can do repeat percussion, so I’ll probably go with the EQD Hummingbird, which seems to be the most cost-effective option. As for harmonic tremolo, I'm not sure about that one. There are a bunch of good sounding pedals that can do both amplitude modulation and frequency modulation (harmonic) tremolo pedals, sometimes both in one box, but as far as I know, no one has a multi-trem pedal with a repeat percussion like the Hummingbird. I've got a Caroline Parabola for harmonic and amplitude-style tremolo and it sounds fantastic, but I also don't use just one tremolo...

Re: your effects setup?
Ideally, I’d like to have more than one myself. 1. I love all forms of trem, and 2. a few decades ago, I remember reading an interview with Grasshopper from Mercury Rev (or was it Jonathan?) back in their early, more noisy (and interesting) days, and he said he took a “Noah’s ark” approach to effects, i.e., two of everything, and I found that this is an excellent approach, especially with modulation effects.

I like that idea a lot. I run 2 tremolos partially because I like different types, but also because years ago I fell in love with this sound:blacktiger wrote: ↑Fri May 27, 2022 7:52 amIdeally, I’d like to have more than one myself. 1. Re: your effects setup?
On further investigation, turns out I was wrong about the Creme Brulee; I was using it like a Klon (which was its selling point), but the way it really works in my rig is as more of a treble booster. I cranked the treble up and kept the gain fairly low, and it really made my amp come alive. This thing might end up as part of a permanent part of the chain, not as a boost or OD, but to brighten things up and add a little oomph to the baseline sound.blacktiger wrote: ↑Wed May 25, 2022 7:59 pmTone Bakery Creme Brulee and Fredric Super Unpleasant Companion. Both of these are extremely cool pedals, but for some reason don’t really work for me/in my set-up.

Re: your effects setup?
Had a bit of fun this weekend with some Memorial Day sales. I picked up an EHX 1440 looper, a Lehle dual expression pedal, and a Spaceman Explorer phaser in red Oh, and some parts for my pedalboard rack/patchbay setup.

Re: your effects setup?
Bango board is pretty small, an Xotic EP boost and Super Sweet Boost, Frantone Brooklyn and Peachfuzz, EHX B9 and a tuner, and a Source Audio True Spring.
Running into a Tonemaster Deluxe Reverb with a Pedalsnake - the power supply for the pedalboard (and occasionally a wireless unit) sit at the amp and then the only thing running to/from the board is the snake from the amp, which runs power out to the board.

Re: your effects setup?
Latest version built around the Halberd. The black loop subdivides the dirt loop of the Swiss Things so that the RE-20 is on one switch and the chorus, Afterneath, and pitch shifter are on the other in between fuzzes/wah and boost/OD. That keeps these easy to reach and simple enough to use in a live context. The Model feT & Simplifier combo works reasonably well for a direct recording/backup option, but I might try some other approaches. Those pedalnetics organizing boxes are pretty intriguing.

Re: your effects setup?
I picked up a Way Huge Supa Puss over the weekend, and I have to say that I'm really impressed. The four different subdivisions are nice to have, as are the modulation knobs, repeat gain knob and repeat tone knob. Very versatile and very inspiring. Anyways, onto the full board:
Guitar -> JHS Pulp 'n Peel (v3) Compressor -> ZVex Double Rock Distortion -> Big Cheese Fuzz Clone -> JHS Muffuletta Fuzz -> Ernie Ball MVP Volume (TU-3S Tuner in its loop) -> Walrus Julia Chorus -> Way Huge Supa Puss Delay -> TC Hall of Fame II Reverb -> Amp

Simplifying even further I see.johnnysomersett wrote: ↑Sat Jun 04, 2022 1:24 amMy current highly complex and boutique pedalboard...
I really like simple for my 3 piece. Last practice I I was feeling lazy and brought my Tech 21 Blonde and plugged straight into the PA with zero effects.
I prefer a real amp, but honestly it was fine.

Re: your effects setup?
Yeah, down to the bare minimum. Now I have installed a master volume on my Bassman the need for the BD-2 for light overdrive is gone so I just need the Rat as the 'louder' button. There's also only one song we have (so far) that I use the VB-2 for and I have managed to just use the whammy on the Jag to approximate it if needed.
I'll carry the BD-2 in the kit bag for emergencies with a battery in it. A little reliable get-out-of-jail-free card.
