Re: Setup of the day
well, a lot of times i sit infront of my computer and play, so i get a lot of hum that way.eupat wrote: you really need the hum debugger ??
the reason i bought it in the first place was for gigs with my old band - the first couple shows gave me horrible hum thru my TS jazzy, so i was like "i gotta fix this..."
the only thing about the humdebugger is that it adds a very small amount of brightness, and sometimes makes the "humdebugged" tone sound like a very short room reverb/short delay (really really short, to the point where i don't mind it at all )

Re: Setup of the day
I took all of my dirt pedals out of my chain. It was really fun to see how differently I played without any dirt at my disposal, and fun to come up with song ideas this way as well.

Today it's this: 1994 MIJ Jazzmaster (w/ Duncan Antiquity Is) > NOC3 Pure Drive > EHX Deluxe Memory Man > 1975 Orange Overdrive 120 > DIY 4x12 w/ JBLs.
It's pretty freakin' sweet, I tell you. Pretty freakin' sweet.

Any setup that includes an Orange Overdrive is killer in my book!JazzBlaster wrote:TheodorJ wrote: Today it's this: 1994 MIJ Jazzmaster (w/ Duncan Antiquity Is) > NOC3 Pure Drive > EHX Deluxe Memory Man > 1975 Orange Overdrive 120 > DIY 4x12 w/ JBLs.

I love my Jazzmasters, but I haven't used anything other than My Travis Bean for over a month

Re: Setup of the day
Yeah, but the JBL speakers aren't the best match for the amp. They might sound better with a Fender head. I found a newer Orange 4x12 with two Vintage 30s and two G12Hs that I'm considering, but there's a '73 OR-120 with a PA 2x12 for sale in Oslo that I really want to jump on. A stereo setup would be AMAZING! The OR for clean sounds and the Overdrive for drive.i love sharin foo wrote:Any setup that includes an Orange Overdrive is killer in my book!JazzBlaster wrote:TheodorJ wrote: Today it's this: 1994 MIJ Jazzmaster (w/ Duncan Antiquity Is) > NOC3 Pure Drive > EHX Deluxe Memory Man > 1975 Orange Overdrive 120 > DIY 4x12 w/ JBLs.
