I think what has driven me most nuts about the used market lately is that stuff that's readily available brand new is being listed as used in "meh" condition for a price that's significantly higher than the new price. There were a few instances where I sent offers that were potentially generous for a used piece and the counteroffer I got back was still higher than new.

I'm not sure what the logic is, honestly, and I doubt there's anything based in reality in those situations, but it's becoming more common and that's aaaaaaannnnnnoooooyyyyying!

Yeah, seems like the standard these days. What happened? Maybe people are just sad the days of thrifting are long gone?
