Cornish Clones?
I'd really like to get my hands on a Pete Cornish G-2 but they're just too ridiculously expensive. Are there any good clones out there?

There's the Vick Audio V-2, which doesn't seem to be made anymore. There's a few sources for PCBs of the circuit, so you might find some clones from small builders on reverb. I have one built from an Aionfx "Cygnus" pcb. It can sound great, but it's also pretty dark and bass heavy.

If you don't mind DIY, AionFX makes a PCB (and maybe even a kit) for this and many other Cornish pedals. I think I've built all of them. The G-2 is probably my favorite.

I have this that I built up for a little sale event last year and it never went anywhere. Its not a direct clone as it doesnt have the buffers or extra filtered power supply. Its more of a regular big muff but with all the Cornish G-2 part values and tone control. It can be had rather inexpensively if that checks your boxes.OffYourFace wrote: ↑Wed Dec 06, 2023 8:51 pmI'd really like to get my hands on a Pete Cornish G-2 but they're just too ridiculously expensive.
