Hey Gang,
Thinking of getting an EQ pedal to throw in the loop of my Victory amp to use as a shaped volume boost for leads. Been over-analyzing the current crop of stuff and have driven myself a bit nuts. Anyone have any favorites?
GE-7 - Longtime popular. Used by Gilmour and Slash. Hiss seems to be.... pretty noticeable without modding though. Not sure how I feel about that.
MXR 6 Band - Smaller, less hiss. No volume fader though? Would I miss it?
MXR 10 Band - Less hiss but massive, wouldn't fit on my mini board.
Source Audio Programmable EQ - I like my Nemesis a fair bit and this seems super interesting, but the lack of ability to move sliders without using the buttons seems like it'd be slow going.

I have an old MXR 10 Band that served me well for a very long time; until I eventually got the rather expensive, but quite excellent Comrade 532 EQ by DEAD(fx).
...I've actually been meaning to go through and sell some of my lesser-used stuff, so if you're interested in the MXR 10 Band, I'd be happy to let it go to a fellow OSG'er for a low price!

Ended up with a modded GE-7, which is perfect for my needs.

I use my Meris Ottobit as an EQ all the time with an expression pedal.

What about the Empress ParaEQ? I like the options a parametric EQ offers.

Way more flexible than it looks but I love the BJFe Sea Blue EQ. It just makes everything sound better.
I'm really intrigued by the Leqtique 10 band EQ but it doesn't look small. I have a few other pedals from Leqtique and have been very impressed with how low the noise floor is.
