Is it just me, or are things getting stupid with the shoegaze pedals?

I had skinheads on my shit from 13-20 years old, i couldn't shake them for the life of me, I hot one of them with the receiver of payphone at the mall one day and they just united to attack me after that for years and years. In the end i never really got beat down by them but they would show up at the shittiest times.

The Jock thing was MOST pervasive, i would encounter large groups of them literally everyday and have to run. It got old really fast but then I realized if I went and skated other towns I would be able to avoid them and so that's how I handled it.

BACK TO WORSHIP AMBIENT DUDES:
there are literally a billion of these guys and they all have extensive guitar set ups featuring more pedals in dollar value than my entire gear hoard. I guess xtians get a deal at G or something?
I grew up in Virginia Beach, which was weird AF in a lot of ways. The closer you were to the beach/bay, the more generally chill people were. A lot of the jocks got into Bob Marley and the Grateful Dead in high school, so they weren’t (completely) the stereotypical meathead types. On the other hand, the surfers were also into hunting, so there was a weird surfer/redneck crossover. I was lucky not to encounter any skinheads until a bunch of them rushed the stage while Fugazi was playing in summer 1988. They were apparently pissed that Fugazi had shaved heads but weren’t nazis. In the end, the band basically won, and they retreated. Not too long after, I dated a girl who had recently broken up with one of those skins. She was apparently still friendly with their leader and he made some idle threats about me because my hair was long at that point. Thankfully, nothing really came of it.

Worship dudes: ethereal ambient sounds get you closer to heaven, I guess.

Can't sound like The Edge without shimmer.

Remember the earliest seasons of the Simpsons, where Flanders was sort of also defined by his... "conspicuous consumerism"? Always having the biggest and nicest? I get that vibe with some of those space stations.

They sure do look pretty, though.

Well... the pedal came today, it does not run off batteries, and does not come with a power adapter, so be prepared for that. Not sure if I have one around.
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

I kinda always figured that was because you saw Flanders through the lens of Homer who always had less and took less care of what he did have.

I saw one suggested too. It's happening.

Over here in the US, we're gonna miss the most interesting bands and just get a bunch of third-rate Oasis knockoffs.

The Noel Gallagher "Supersonic, D'ya know what I mean, innit?" Overdrive. It's just a Tube Screamer but it's got a Union Jack paint job and costs $300.

It sounds pretty good at first, but overstays it's welcome after the first 24 songs you play.

ok. one more thing related to britpop and i swear i'll shut up. so my hatred for oasis is well known at this point. i think they're one of the worst bands ever. my dislike for tribute bands is also well known. well there's a local oasis tribute band starting up and i hate to admit, i love their name...... oasus. the only issue is, i don't think they'll have the balls to play into the among us theme and go on stage dressed as among us crew mates and spend 60 seconds of each set arguing over who was impostor.

I'm about to get stupid with my shoegaze pedal when it shows up on Wednesday.

It's gonna be all "Souvlarry" and fuck all y'all that don't like it.
