Repeat Percussion Options?
I know about the EQD Hummingbird and the Reuss Repeater. Are there any more cost effective options? Paying $120 plus for a one trick pony seems a bit crazy, regardless of how much I like that one trick…

EHX Pulsar can get you into the Repeat Percussion world easily and is much more flexible a tremolo pedal. Cheap on the used market too.

Re: Repeat Percussion Options?
With the depth knob and speed range switch, I've never considered my EQD Hummingbird a one-trick pony. It was my only tremolo for a long time and is one of my favorites. I feel like there was another one out there though...

Keep an eye on Ebay, I got a little nondescript looking one for 25 a while back. Does the trick, just doesn't have any decoration on it.

Re: Repeat Percussion Options?
ok. so someone mentioned the pulsar and as someone who's got both a pulsar and a repeat percussion, the pulsar can get close to repeat percussion but the pulsar can do a lot that the repeat percussion can do.
BUT if you want a trem pedal that can do what both can do. look into the nobels trx tremolo. i had one years ago where i paid £12. dunno what they go for now.

Re: Repeat Percussion Options?
One of the waveforms on the Walrus Monument is repeat percussion.
It also does your usual square, SIN, and random, plus has tap, subdivisions, harmonic mode, and even a boost. Pricey-ish but covers a lot of tremolo ground.

I got one on ebay from Retro Electro Effects, neat little thing with a couple of more modern features, but it can still do the totally vintage sound if you want it to too.
