Was wondering that too. But they must’ve been developing this for some time now, so my guess is they didn’t know about the RE-2.

I was too but then i found out how much more expensive it was than the smaller original- which has most the features available via USB and preset. I.e. yes its a BIT stupid expensive.

I was pretty underwhelmed with that other NUX Tape Delay pedal, and part of that was because I can't stand pedals that have one switch for on/off and tap tempo (I didn't like the Digitech Obscura either).

Having two switches makes this NUX one interesting, but I still really really want that Boss one (as it has an external tap tempo option... right???)

The 202 is gonna be my jam. I love that it isn’t just a guitar pedal and I can use it as an outboard studio tool. Fantastic.

I found a demo that lets you hear the pedal without having to stomach the typical side dish of wanker. (Sorry, I’m just kind of over most guitar gear demos.)

I think I'll keep mine on top of my home amp for hand-noodling.

I actually sold my RE-201 to someone who came to my house to buy something else (and make a ridiculous amount of profit thanks to the crazy deal I got buying it) so I had the money for these sat waiting. The compact is perfect for pedalboards but I will miss the big knobs so couldn't resist the 202
